A Little Bit About Me

I started Greengraf Photography in 2017 with the intent of turning what was a creative and theraputic outlet into a full-time profession.

I have a deep appreciation for the natural world, and, having had formal education in biological and environmental science, I’ve a solid foundational knowledge of the landscapes and wildlife that I observe and photograph.

For me at least, it’s not enough to just post a pretty picture of a bird. As a communicator of nature, I feel it’s important that I’m able to properly articulate what I’m photographing and why. I choose to spend my time in nature — I benefit personally from it — so it’s important to me that I give back to it.

I’m curious about the world we live in, and I like to work with similar-minded people. So, if you have a project that you think needs more attention from the public or media, get in touch for a chat.

As a member of the Irish Professional Photographers and Videographers Association (IPPVA), my work is deemed to be above a particular standard. It also means that I am tax compliant and I’m fully Insured.

As of 2021, I am a member of the council of the IPPVA.
